Recently, my friend, Ashley Sears, invited me to be a guest on The Stories Unveiled Podcast. She left what we'd talk about up to me, so I chose to have a conversation about something I've been growing in, stumbling in, and seeking to grow more in lately--balancing truth and grace in relationships.
As He does in all things, Jesus balanced these perfectly, and I want to learn from His example. Both grace and truth are central to the Gospel, and if we want to reflect the Gospel love of Christ in our lives, we must learn to incorporate them both well in our relationships. As adapted from a quote by Tim Keller, "The TRUTH of the Gospel is that we are more sinful and flawed in ourselves than we ever dared believe or imagine, yet at the very same time, the GRACE of the Gospel is that we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope!"
