About North Boise

North Boise, which is also referred to as the "North End," is primarily composed of homes in the  83702 zip code and envelops downtown Boise and the Boise historic districts.  North Boise  is bordered on the south by the Boise River and Downtown Boise, to the East and North by the foothills, and to the West by Veterans Memorial Parkway. North Boise is home to much of the city's earliest construction, dating back to the 1870s.  There is still opportunity to purchase new construction or newly renovated homes in these areas, but these types of properties generally sell for the highest price per square foot in the valley.  North Boise is desired for its close proximity to Downtown Boise, the Boise River, and foothills recreation.
